George Cardona

George Cardona is an American linguist and Indologist. He is professor emeritus of linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of interest include Indo-European studies and Indian grammatical theory, in particular the Nyaya and Mimamsa schools. He is also known as an authority on Gujarati, for which he has been honored with membership in the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad.
