Gecarcinucoidea is a superfamily of freshwater crabs. Its members have been grouped into families in various ways, with some authors recognising families such as "Deckeniidae", "Sundathelphusidae", but only two families are currently recognised: Gecarcinucidae and Parathelphusidae.[2]
