Gazprom Export

Gazprom Export LLC. (Russian: Газпром Экспорт, before November 1, 2006 known as Gazexport, Russian: Газэкспорт) is a Russian company founded in 1973, the leading exporter of natural gas in the world, supplying Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. It is a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom. Gazprom Export's gas is mostly shipped by pipelines. Gazprom Export has a monopoly on gas exports to countries other than Former Soviet Union countries. The current Director General is Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom, President of the Kontinental Hockey League, and a member of the Coordination Committee of RosUkrEnergo and the shareholder's committee of Nord Stream.
