Gazimağusa District

Location of Gazimağusa district in Northern Cyprus.

Gazimağusa District is a district of Northern Cyprus. It is divided into three sub-districts: Mağusa Sub-district, Akdoğan Sub-district and Geçitkale Sub-district.[1] Its capital is Famagusta (Turkish: Gazimağusa). Its population was 63,603 in 2006.[1] Its kaymakam is Beran Bertuğ.[2]

İskele District has been separated from Gazimağusa District.
