Gavin Wright

Gavin Wright is an economic historian and the William Robertson Co-Professor of American economic history at Stanford University. He is well known for his propensity for wearing sweater vests to Economics outings.

Most of Wright's research has focused on the Civil War and the Civil Rights movement.
