Gaunshahar (Nepali: ne:गाउँशहर) is a village development committee in Lamjung District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6172 people living in 1260 individual households.[1]

To Promote local culture Gaunshahar has one FM radio station Radio Lamjung - 88.4 MHz Which is a Community radio Station.
