Gaston is an unincorporated community in Nevada County, California.[1] It lies at an elevation of 5062 feet (1543 m).[1] Gaston is located 3.25 miles (5.2 km) south of Graniteville.[2]

A post office operated at Gaston from 1899 to 1913.[2]

Gaston is the name of a military commander.[3]
