Gasteria maculata, common name Spotted Gasteria, is succulent plant in the genus Gasteria belonging to the family Asphodeloideae.
Description
Gasteria maculata usually reach a height of about 10 cm, but mature specimens can reach a maximum of 40 cm. It consists of rosettes of fleshy, long and flat dark green leaves, with pale green spots and terminal spines. The flowers generally blow on Spring on a long stem of about 30 cm, that carries tubular bell-shaped pink to orange flowers.
Distribution
This species is native to South Africa.
