Gary Tello Mery (born 11 April 1993) is a Chilean professional footballer who currently plays for Chilean Primera División club Deportes La Serena as left back.[1]

He started his career at Deportes La Serena of the homogeneous city, professional club of the Primera División in that moment, joining there at a very young age. Tello was promoted to La Serena's first team in the 2010 season, debuting on 9 May of that year against Palestino in a 3–0 away defeat at La Cisterna's Municipal Stadium.[1] He started the next season playing the first three games of the Apertura Tournament under the guidance of the coach Fernando Vergara, but after his departure and the arrival of Miguel Ponce in the charge, he had a considerable lack of games in that season.[1]
