Gary Tauchen is a State Representative who represents Wisconsin's 6th Assembly District which includes parts of Oconto County, Shawano County, and Outagamie County. He was first elected in 2006 to replace long-time State Representative John Ainsworth who was retiring. He was reelected in 2008. Representative Tauchen serves on the committees on Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Rural Affairs, and Workforce Development.[1] Representative Tauchen is a graduate of Bonduel High School (1971) and earned his bachelor of science in Animal Science from UW-River Falls in 1976.
