Gary Dunion (born 15 July 1980 in Dundee, Scotland) is a Scottish Green Party and Green Party of England and Wales politician and editor of the progressive blog Bright Green.

He is the son of Kevin Dunion, the Scottish Information Commissioner and was educated at Portobello High School, going on to read sustainable development at the University of St. Andrews.

Dunion has previously worked as a campaign assistant for the World Development Movement Scotland, World Wide Fund for Nature in Scotland and as Chief Press Officer for the Green Party of England and Wales. [1]

He was second on the Scottish Green Party list for the Central Scotland region in the 2007 Scottish Parliament elections[2] but was not elected. [3]

Dunion currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, and works for Independent MSP Jean Urquhart.
