Garfield is a game based on the comic strip of the same name. The game was released on the PlayStation 2 and PC. Both versions were made by Renderware, Hip Interactive and The Code Monkeys.

As Garfield, you must clean up the house with the vacuum cleaner backpack before Jon gets home, or Garfield's goose is cooked (in other words, the game will be over and he will be put on a diet). As this is the first 3D Garfield game, the environment was made fully interactive.

There are no rooms in this game.

Storage boxes

The backpack only has room for three items, but storage boxes can store up to fifty. The storage box can also be used to save the current game onto one of eight files.

Reception

The Garfield game received average-to-terrible ratings. PS2 UK magazine gave it a 2/10 and JeuxVideo PC gave it a 4/20. Major reasons include unattractive graphics, slightly-sluggish controls, and Odie only flipping around when kicked.
