Gareth Dawson (born February 21, 1989) is a New Zealand professional basketball player. The 23 year-old has been tagged recently as a future Tall Black star and evidence of that was shown when he was a development player for the Wollongong Hawks in the 2009–10 Australasian NBL season. He joined the Cairns Taipans for the 2010–11 season also as a development player.[1]
