Galeazzo Sanvitale

This article is about the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Bari. For the condottiero who sat for the Portrait of Galeazzo Sanvitale, see Gian Galeazzo Sanvitale.
Galeazzo Sanvitale, was the Archbishop of Bari.[1]
He was consecrated 4 April 1604 in the chapel of the Apostolic Sacristy, Rome, by Cardinal Girolamo Bernerio, Bishop of Albano.[2]
Through Sanvitale’s episcopal consecration of Ludovico Ludovisi, he is part of the episcopal lineage of Pope Francis and most other modern bishops.
