Gajendra Singh, is one of the most successful Indian television Producers and Directors. An apt description for 'Mr. Gajendra Singh' would be a 'trend setter', the Creator of Musical Reality shows in India, Talent Scout extraordinaire' and a true visionary who revolutionized the Indian Cable TV scene. He is the PIONEER of Musical reality Shows on Indian television. Few of his most popular & prominent shows have been Close-Up Antakshari, SaReGaMa and the recent popular Amul Music ka Maha Muqqabla and Sur Kshetra. He grew with Zee TV and took Indian Television to an international level. He presented the television industry with a new definition of musical reality and enrolled himself in "Limca book of Records" for creating history by making the longest running musical reality show "Antakshari" on Indian Television diaspora for 10 continuous years. This was followed by 'Sa Re Ga Ma' another longest running show along with the strongly branded programs like India's Best Cinestar's ki Khoj and Lil' Champs. Courageous enough to step into south market he creating benchmark shows for bouquet of channels there having won several awards and simultaneously created fiction and non-fiction shows in Bengali and other regional tv channels with path-breaking television ratings on Mahuaa TV. Mr. Singh has been instrumental in Conceptualizing, Developing and producing a number of hit Musical reality shows and fiction based television series.

Professional career

He is known for pioneering^[1] and popularizing game shows, and musical talent shows on Indian Television. He had a long and successful association with Zee TV till 2006. Due to some reasons he left Zee TV and started working with the Star TV.He is from Azamgarh , uttar pradesh.

Antakshari

Titan Antakshari - Intercollegiate Championship is an Indian musical game show that airs on Zee TV every Friday. The show is a replacement of the Titan Antakshari -L'il Champs.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

The first episode aired on May 1, 1995 and was hosted by Sonu Nigam. The show was extremely popular at that time and produced many playback singers in Bollywood.

STAR Voice Of India

Star Voice of India is an Indian Television singing talent hunt that premiered on 18 May 2007 and ended on 24 November 2007. It was the first Indian singing competition produced by STAR Plus. Voice of India 2 began on 18 July 2008.
