Gaidakot (also written as Gaindakot) /Guyn-daa-kowt/ Nepali: गैंडाकोट is a village development committee in Nawalparasi District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. It is slated to become a municipality in 2012 and is situated on the Narayani River across from Bharatpur. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 12,874 people living in 2347 individual households.[1]
