Gabriela Barros Tapia, Miss Chile Universe 2004, was chosen on May, 2004 under the organization of Ana María Cummins and Zegers DDB Agency. The first runner-up was Francisca Silva (Miss America Latina Chile 2004).

Miss Universe 2004

Barros (born 28 November 1980) represented Chile in Miss Universe 2004 held in Quito, Ecuador, where she classified between fifteen semifinalists, staying in the place number 12. The winner was Miss Australia, Jennifer Hawkins. Chile doesn't classified between the fifteen semifinalists since 1990.

Nowadays, she's an international model and takes part in a program of Italian broadcaster RAI.
