GSP TV is a Romanian television that broadcasts footbal from Championship (England), Premier League (Russia), Copa do Brasil, tennis tournaments, and other sport events. It also broadcasts live sport shows which are hosted by important figures in Romanian sports. In September 2012, the station was rebranded, under a new slogan, "Men in power", and with tv shows destined for male audience (boxing, wrestling, MMA, bar sports - darts, poker, snooker).[1]
The news section is represented daily, 24/24 hours, with 3 main bulletins:
- Half Time News (Repriza de Stiri) 14:00
- The News of the Day (Stirile Zilei) 18:00
- The Events of the Day (Evenimentele Zilei) 21:00
It is owned by the Intact group, the second largest Romanian media group. GSP stands for Gazeta Sporturilor, the best-known sport publication in Romania, which is also owned by the Intact group.

GSP TV 2
The Antena 1-RCS&RDS joint-venture had to create another TV channel as the only solution to broadcast all the games. The motive is that some football games were chossen by LPF to be played in the same time.
Trivia
The promotional video had the Realitatea TV (a rival TV channel) as TV sponsor. LPF choose Realitatea TV as the TV partner though Antena 1 - RCS&RDS joint had bought the 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons of Liga I games, thus having the rights to broadcast them on their channel, GSP TV, the new sports television. The promotion of a TV channel on another rival channel never occurred before.
