Günəşli (until 2008,[1] Azərbaycan, Azerbagdzhan, and Azerbaydzhan) is a village and municipality in the Lerik Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 1,022. The municipality consists of the villages of Günəşli and Babagil.[2]
The village's prior name, "Azərbaycan", means "Azerbaijan" in the Azerbaijani language.
