Fyfield is a village in the County of Essex, England. It is located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-east of Chipping Ongar, 7.9 miles (12.7 km) south-east of Harlow and 8.3 miles (13.3 km) west of Chelmsford.
Fyfield is home to Fyfield Hall, which is the oldest inhabited timber framed building in England.[2]
Notable residents
Wayne Lineker, brother of broadcaster and ex-professional footballer Gary Lineker, lived in Fyfield until he was jailed for two and a half years for tax fraud.[3]
