Furnace is a former settlement in Inyo County, California.[1] It was located 6.5 miles (10 km) north-northwest of Funeral Peak, in the Funeral Mountains.[1]

Patrick Clark founded the Furnace Creek Copper Company at the place in Death Valley.[1] Furnace was a boomtown by 1905, but deserted by 1907.[1] The Furnace post office operated from 1907 to 1908.[1]
