Frydek [ˈfrɨdɛk] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Miedźna, within Pszczyna County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-east of Pszczyna and 38 km (24 mi) south of the regional capital Katowice.
The village has a population of 1,020.
