Fryburg (also Freyburg, Freyburgh, or Fryburgh)[1] is an unincorporated community located in central Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, United States.

It is located between Wapakoneta and Botkins. The community is served by the Wapakoneta City School District and the Wapakoneta (45895) post office.

Fryburg is well known for its annual Homecoming Festival, held the Sunday before Labor Day at St. John's Roman Catholic Church. The festival features homemade soups (including mock-turtle soup), sandwiches, and pies. Alcohol was previously served; however, negative publicity following allegations of underage consumption ended the sale of alcohol in the mid-1990s. Since then, attendance has slackened, although since 2005 the festival has experimented with ways to control the sale and consumption of beer.[citation needed]

A community landmark is St. John's Catholic Church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[2]
