French ship Renommée

Several ships of the French navy have born the name Renommée:
- Renommée, captured in 1651 by HMS Nonsuch, renamed as HMS Renown and sold in 1654.
- Renommée, captured in 1747 by HMS Dover, renamed as HMS Renown and broken up in 1771.
- Renommée, captured in 1796 by HMS Alfred and broken up in September 1810.
- Renommée (1808), a 40-gun Pallas-class frigate captured in 1811, renamed HMS Java and was captured by USS Constitution and subsequently burnt in 1813.
