Franz Weitlaner

Franz Weitlaner ([ˈvaɪtlaːnɛʁ]; 1872–1944) was an Austrian physician who is known for designing the self-retaining retractor bearing his name.

Life

Weitlaner was born in Austria. He was a general practitioner.
