Frank Naef was a Swiss television executive and journalist. He is best known for being the supervisor for the Eurovision Song Contest from 1978 up until 1992. Naef was the one who announced that Sweden's Carola won the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest and was critical of Lill Lindfors as she lost her skirt in the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest.
Naef stepped down as Supervisor in 1992 after 14 years as Supervisor for the Eurovision Song Contest. He retired a year later.
