Frank DeMartini
Frank DeMartini was born on Long Island, New York on February 23, 1962 to Frank A. DeMartini and Grace (née Lombardi). He is a Hollywood film producer,[1] entertainment attorney and an active Republican residing in Los Angeles California. He is employed by Avi Lerner's Millennium Films under a "first look" deal and has produced approximately 20 films since 1997.
DeMartini graduated from Touro College, New York in 1986 cum laude. Following DeMartini's undergraduate work at Syracuse University and from 1986 to 1997 DeMartini practiced law in Hollywood in both the commercial and entertainment fields. DeMartini became a specialist in representing not only the above the line elements such as actors, writers, producers and directors, but also all aspects of motion picture and TV production from development through financing and distribution.
The transition to movies was rapid, and after serving as associate producer on three independent features, he produced Motel Blue (1997), starring Sean Young[2] and Robert Vaughn.[3] DeMartini has continued to flourish as a producer on such films as "The Prince and Me Part IV", "Mad Money" starring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, Ted Danson and Katie Holmes, and most recently, "Elephant White" directed by Prachya Pinkaew and starring Djimon Honsou and Kevin Bacon.
Mad Money was released theatrically worldwide in January 2008 and grossed approximately 26 million dollars.[4]
DeMartini is an unapologetic staunch Republican in the midst of profoundly Democratic industry, and does not hesitate to stir up controversy with his website, A Hollywood Republican.
