Frank "Carlo" Carlton (born 21 March 1936 in Blackbrook — died 19 February 2009(2009-02-19) (aged 72) in Whiston Hospital) was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s and '60s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for St. Helens, and Wigan, as a Wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.[1]

International honours

Frank Carlton, won a cap for England while at St. Helens in 1956 against France,[2] and won caps for Great Britain while at St. Helens in 1958 against New Zealand, and in 1962 against New Zealand.[3]

Frank Carlton is a St Helens RLFC Hall of Fame Inductee.[4]
