Francis Kahata (born 7 June 1991 in Ruiru) is a Kenyan footballer who currently plays for Albanian side KF Tirana as a striker. He played for Kenya internationals at the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.[1]

It is there where he met his great mentor and friend, Francis Mugera Waweru (MEA), his academic senior, who played a key role in mentoring the young Kahata and nurturing his talents. From there he would soon join the school's first team an make immediate impact.
