Francis Joins the WACS is a 1954 American comedy film starring Donald O'Connor, along with Julie Adams, ZaSu Pitts, Mamie Van Doren and Chill Wills. A young man is brought back into the U.S. Army, but a computer error assigns him to the Women's Army Corps. Fortunately, he is reunited with his shrewd (if unique) friend, Francis the Talking Mule, who helps him with his troubles.
