Francesco Montervino (born 7 May 1978) is an Italian football midfielder who currently plays for Serie D club Salerno.
Career
His first team was the Baby Ippodromo and he remained there until he was 13. Then he played for the youth team of Taranto, Fasano and A.C.Parma. Then he transferred in 1996 to Fasano where he played 21 matches and scored 3 goals.
Ancona (1997-2003)
He transferred to Ancona and remained there for six years, he played 121 matches and scored 8 goals.
Napoli (2003-2009)
In 2003 he signed for Napoli. He is the symbol of the rebirth of Napoli, he contributed to the promotion in Serie B and than in Serie A.
Salernitana (2009-2011)
After 7 years with Napoli, he moves to Salernitana on 31 August 2009.[1]
Salerno (2011-)
In the season 2011-12 he plays for Salerno, the new club of the city.
