François Bonneau

François Bonneau (born October 12, 1953 in Amilly, Loiret) is a French politician and the incumbent President of the Regional Council of the Centre region.[1] He is a member of the Socialist Party.
He successively served as Vice President of the Montargis Agglomeration Community (1989–1995), municipal councillor in Montargis (since 2001) and member of the Regional Council since 1998. Following the resignation of President Michel Sapin in 2007, he was elected President of the Regional Council.
He will run for a full term in his own right in the 2010 regional elections.
