Foxton (grid reference SP701900) is a village in Leicestershire, England, to the north-west of Market Harborough. It is on the Grand Union Canal and is the site of the Foxton Locks[1][2] and Foxton Inclined Plane.

In the 1880s, Foxton was described as:

par., S. Leicestershire, on Union Canal, 3 miles NW. of Market Harborough, 2020 ac., pop. 348; p.o.[3]

It had a population of 478 according to the 2011 census[4]
