Formigara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cremona in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Milan and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Cremona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,116 and an area of 12.7 square kilometres (4.9 sq mi).[1]
Formigara borders the following municipalities: Camairago, Castiglione d'Adda, Gombito, Pizzighettone, San Bassano.
