Fonteno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 70 km northeast of Milan and about 30 km northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 680 and an area of 11.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Fonteno contains the frazione (subdivision) Xino.
