Fong Kui Lun (Chinese: 方贵伦) (born 28 September 1946) is a Malaysian politician and a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP). He is the Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang[1] and the DAP treasurer.[2]

On 16 August 2012, YB Fong Kui Lin courageously apprehended a snatch thief attempting to escape in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. His responsive action with a punch to the shoulder managed to cause the thief to lose balance and fall. Other passer-by then made a citizen's arrest while awaiting for the police to arrive. His bravery and actions were applauded by Malaysian netizens. [3]
