Fondo (German: Pfund; Nones: Fón) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 40 km north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,462 and an area of 30.8 km².[1]

The municipality of Fondo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Tret and Vasio.

Fondo borders the following municipalities: Brez, Castelfondo, Malosco, Ronzone, Sarnonico, Eppan and Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde-St. Felix.
