Focal Point was a short lived Hardcore punk band from California, who released a 7" vinyl record on Life Sentence Records and their only full-length album on Tooth & Nail Records (later released under sublabel Solid State Records). The band is notable as being the starting band for guitarist Ryan Clark who would later go on to become the guitarist/lead vocalist of metalcore/mathcore band Training for Utopia, the lead vocalist for alternative metal/metalcore band Demon Hunter, and a Grammy Award-nominated graphic designer with design companies Asterik Studio and Invisible Creature.
