Florian Klein (born 17 November 1986) is an Austrian football player who currently plays for Austrian team FC Red Bull Salzburg as defender.

Career

Klein began his career in September 1994 in the youth team for LASK Linz and was promoted to the senior team in July 2004 .[1] He played on loan for FC Blau-Weiß Linz in the 2003/2004 season and returned to LASK Linz after the end of the season. After 163 games in 14 years for LASK, in which he scored 13 goals, he signed a two year contract plus option with Austria Wien on 30 April 2009.[2] In 2012 he went to FC Red Bull Salzburg.[3]

Position

He plays as right back or right midfielder.

International career

Klein has played for Austria U-19 and Austria U-21.[4]
