Florentia is a commune in the Jura department in Franche-Comté in eastern France.
- Florentia was a grid-planned Roman military encampment and colony in modern-day Florence. Its regular street layout can still be seen around the Piazza della Republica, once the old Roman Forum.
- Florentia is also Latin for Florence.
- Florentia is also the name of an Italian restaurant in Toronto, Canada owned by artist Marco Sassone.[1]
