Florentia is a commune in the Jura department in Franche-Comté in eastern France.

Florentia was a grid-planned Roman military encampment and colony in modern-day Florence. Its regular street layout can still be seen around the Piazza della Republica, once the old Roman Forum.
Florentia is also Latin for Florence.
Florentia is also the name of an Italian restaurant in Toronto, Canada owned by artist Marco Sassone.[1]
