Flatkvål

Flatkvål is a village in the Eksingedalen valley in Vaksdal municipality, Norway.
From 1837 Flatkvål was administratively a part of Voss. On 1 January 1885 the district Evanger, where Eksingedalen and Flatkvål was located, was separated from Voss to create a separate municipality. On 1 January 1964 the districts of Bergsdalen and Eksingedalen with 251 inhabitants combined were merged with Bruvik and a part of Modalen to create the new municipality Vaksdal.
