Flat Top Peninsula

Flat Top Peninsula (62°13′S 59°2′W / 62.217°S 59.033°W / -62.217; -59.033Coordinates: 62°13′S 59°2′W / 62.217°S 59.033°W / -62.217; -59.033) is a small, flat-topped peninsula 1 nautical mile (2 km) north of the southwestern extremity of King George Island, South Shetland Islands. The peninsula was named on a chart based upon a survey by Discovery Investigations personnel of the Discovery II during 1935.[1]
