The predaceous aeolis (Flabellina trophina) is a species of sea slug, an aolid nudibranch, a marine opisthobranchia mollusk in the family Flabellinidae.[1] This species was commonly miss-identified as Flabellina fusca.[2]

Diet

F. trophina mainly feeds on hydroids, it was also once believed to fed on tube worms but the species actually just preferred the hydroids which were growing on the outside of the tube worm.[2] It can also be seen feeding on other nudibranchs, crustacea and polychaete worms.[3]
