A primary school, known since 1985 as the Fitzmaurice Primary School,[4] uses some of the former classrooms of the grammar school.

Alumni of the Grammar school include:
- Dr Geoffrey Copland CBE, Vice-Chancellor from 1996-2007 of the University of Westminster, and former Chairman from 1997-2003 of the Coalition of Modern Universities, and of the Universities and Colleges Employers Association, and current Chairman since 2007 of ASET
