Fit (play)

Fit is a 2008 play by Rikki Beadle-Blair which was commissioned by the Gay Rights Charity Stonewall.[1] The play was performed at The Drill Hall in London, The Birmingham Rep, The Contact Theatre in Manchester, the Unity Theatre in Liverpool, and the CCA in Glasgow. The show was also performed in Schools in London, Greater Manchester, Bournemouth, Brighton, Liverpool, Edinburgh & Glasgow. At one point there was minor controversy in the Media - with articles in the Daily Mail [2] and Guardian Online.[3] The cast of was Lydia Toumaszou, Sasha Frost, Ludvig Bonin, Duncan Macinnes, Stephen Hoo, Jay Brown and Rikki Beadle-Blair. Fit was then made into a movie version with a new script and more characters surrounding the central characters played by the original London cast. The film has won many awards and the leading actors fly to Los Angeles for OutFest Film Festival for the World Premiere of Fit at the Directors Guild of America on Sunset Blvd.[4]
