Fish owls are a group of Asian owls in the Strigidae family. The owls are sometimes placed in their own genus Ketupa, but should arguably be merged with Bubo[citation needed].
It contains the following species:
- Blakiston's Fish Owl, (Bubo blakistoni)
- Brown Fish Owl, (Bubo zeylonensis)
- Tawny Fish Owl, (Bubo flavipes)
- Buffy Fish Owl (Bubo ketupu)
