The Fine-barred Piculet (Picumnus subtilis) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It was until recently considered endemic to Peru, but is now also known from adjacent Acre in Brazil.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
