Festival Supermall or Festival Mall is a large shopping mall owned and operated by Filinvest Land, Inc.'s subsidiary, Filinvest Alabang, Inc. The mall is located at Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang Muntinlupa City, in the Philippines. The mall opened in the middle of May 1998, and it became Filinvest’s flagship project. The whole Festival Supermall complex has an area of 20 hectares.
Location
It is located in the center of Filinvest Corporate City, a major business district in Alabang. The mall is accessible via South Luzon Expressway from Filinvest Exit, Alabang Exit, and South Station Exit, and also via the National Highway and Alabang-Zapote Road. Festival Supermall is also adjacent to some of the malls South of Metro Manila, namely Alabang Town Center, SM Southmall, Starmall Alabang (Formerly Metropolis) and Lianas Alabang.
Features
Currently, Festival Supermall has six anchor stores; Shopwise Supercenter, SM Savemore, Robinsons Department Store, Ace Hardware, Handyman. It has a provision for 600 specialty stores, boutiques and kiosks, a total of 2,300 hourly charged multi-level parking slots, various food outlets in the 1000-seat Food Junction and ten cinemas. .[1]

Mall Expansion and Renovation
Festival Supermall unveiled plans for a major expansion to fortify its position as the regional retail and recreation center south of Metro Manila. The expansion will add eight hectares of gross leasable area to the shopping complex, bringing its total to almost 30 hectares. The mall is looking forward at another 700 interesting and unique food and retail concepts on top of the 700 the mall currently has at the moment. This expansion will further boost Festival Supermall into a super regional center.[2]
The development will be divided in three districts:
- Water Garden is the heart of festival mall with abundance of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities. This district celebrates the destination and is loaded with fun and excitement. The area will be full of colorful art and sculptures.
- River Park is the perfect escape from the everyday routine a relaxing environment with the nature. The area is a true celebration of the river, boating and other water activities can situated. River Park will accommodate outdoor activities for biking track, jogging pathway and group gathering place.
- Festival walk where a daily people interact with the pathway and entrance of the mall. It’s natural inspiration express the journey, light and the color creating a festive of environment inspired by energy and movement.[3]
Upon the expansion’s targeted completion, Festival Supermall is expected to have about 192,163 sq. m. in GLA, or an addition of an estimated 57,000 sq. m. in GLA.[4]
The Main Mall is also currently under renovation to match the look of the expansion.
