Ferroexpreso Pampeano

Ferroexpreso Pampeano S.A.(FEPSA) is a private company which, in August 1991, was awarded a concession, granted by the Argentine government, for the operation of freight services over a 5,094 km (3,165 mi) 5 ft 6 in (1,676 mm) broad gauge rail network comprising sections which, before nationalisation of the railways in 1948, were operated by the following foreign-owned companies:

Freight services commenced on 1 November 1991 over a rail network mainly within the provinces of Buenos Aires and La Pampa but with branches extending into neighbouring Córdoba, San Luis and Santa Fe provinces. The line between Rosario and Puerto Belgrano near Bahía Blanca is the most heavily-used branch.
