Feijoal (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Fejoal) is a village in the eastern part of the island of Sal, Cape Verde. The village is about 4 km east of Espargos and around 1 km southwest of Pedra de Lume.

Geography and Information

Desert sands dominates the area around the village with hills by the coastline, vegetation are within the villages and the Pedra de Lume crater is north of the village. Farmlands are mainly composes of cattle and livestock with rare vegetation, fruits and vegetables including bananas, tomatoes, chocolate and wheat are exported from other parts of Cape Verde that has a wetter climate.

The village is in the island's low class. Many houses are built with mud-brick and stone, the rest are concrete or sand with stone. All of its population are farmers and are based in agriculture. However, a part of the needy materials comes from the island capital, the island capital and the diaspora. But for other needs, electricity, communications and appliances are partially available in the area as well as phone lines since the late-20th century. A part of the necessities also comes from the island capital.
